Door County and its communities are a thriving area with a wide selection of lifestyle options and locations. The Door Peninsula is surrounded by water on three sides (the Bay of Green Bay to our west, and Lake Michigan on our easterly and northern shores) and stretches from the Southern Door County communities of Gardner, Nasewaupee and Brussels into Sturgeon Bay and then north along the Lake Michigan shore through Sevastopol, Jacksonport, Baileys Harbor, Sister Bay, Ellison Bay and Gills Rock. Along the westerly, Bay of Green Bay shore you will travel north through Sevastopol, Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, Ephraim and into Sister Bay. Dotted around the county are small inland lakes like Clark Lake, Kangaroo Lake, Lost Lake and Europe Lake
Five Wisconsin state parks and more than a dozen Door County parks offer some of the best hiking and biking opportunities to be found in the Midwest. Eleven Door County golf courses, horseback riding, great fishing, cherry orchards and scores of festivals are complemented by picturesque sunsets, memorable restaurants and pampering accommodations.
