About Sister Bay
With a variety of options for shopping an dining and recreation, and services ranging from medical to servicing for your car, Sister Bay can truly be considered northern Door County's year 'round village.
Sister Bay's shore offers its own unique beauty--most notibly the every-changing Green Bay waters. Sister Bay is only minutes away from cultural attractions like the Door Community Auditorium, Birch Creek, American Folklore Theatre and America's oldest professional summer theatre, Peninsula Players.
The beautifully maintained Bay Ridge Golf Course offeres 9-holes of play, 5,698 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 68 are sure to be enjoyed by the duffer. Year 'round residents and visitors alike enjoy the charm of the village and businesses. There are so many must-sees in Door County, two of my favorites are the goats on Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant, and the Mission Grille--the restored church now Sister Bay's signature fine dining destination.
And if it is a sunset you desire, in the summer months be sure to take in Fred & Fuzzy's, a casual waterfront pub with the best sunsets in Sister Bay.
Sister Bay's village population is about 900. The surrounding town of Liberty Grove (a part referred to as Sister Bay and a part as Ellison Bay) is the largest of all the Door County townships. Country homes, village homes, bluff-front water-view condominium homes and rental condominium units are all options as you consider your home in Door County.
