Europe Lake - The Fishing is Great & the Living is Easy
The water in Europe Lake is shallow and warm with a sand bottom. The lake is bordered on the east by Newport State Park.
You will find lots of Northern at the old marina, and if you have the kids along be sure to look for turtles hanging around the marina too. Fishing licenses and Great Lakes stamps are required.
Europe Lake is about 272 acres in size with a maximum depth of 8 feet. Fisherman will find Northern Pike, Walleye, Panfish and Small Mouth Bass.
The land around Europe Lake is moderately developed with single family residences. If you are lucky enough to live on Europe Lake, then you are lucky enough!
Europe Lake is a protected bay, and holds a secret tunnel to kayak through.
